Learn Tantra Breathing For Complete Wellbeing

The manner in which we breathe plays a huge role in how healthy and emotionally grounded we are. As a tantra teacher, I place great emphasis on correct breathing and the tantra breathing techniques prescribes by the tantra scriptures. Apart from overall physical, mental and spiritual wellness, tantra breathing is an excellent method of detoxification.

The commonly accepted misconception that breathing should take place through the chest is just that - a misconception. It is a myth propagated by physical fitness advocates who simply do not know any better. In fact, chest breathing can lead to a lot of complications, since the lungs cannot expand to their fullest capacity and are therefore unable to absorb oxygen properly. One of the first things that your tantra teacher will inform you of is that chest breathing is shallow, unhealthy breathing.

Furthermore, expanding the chest is one of the ways in which men behave when they want to display aggression or dominance. It is a primitive response to danger, and its purpose is for the male to take up more space and make himself look bigger and more powerful. For this reason, making it a habit to expand the chest releases all sorts of stress hormones.

For any serious student of tantra, it is important to unlearn this unhealthy manner of breathing and to be instructed in the prescribed tantra breathing methods. This is not always easy.

The correct way of breathing as per tantric yoga guidelines involves drawing breath in slowly through the nose and allowing the abdomen (rather than the chest) to expand. In this way, the diaphragm is distended downwards and creates more space for the lungs to be filled. It is helpful to imagine that the air is being drawn through the lungs and into the belly.

This kind of breathing can be practiced in day-to-day life until it becomes second nature. While practicing tantra breathing during a tantric yoga session, one can take the technique further. After drawing in the breath as outlined above, hold it for a brief moment and then begin expelling it, allowing your belly and chest to deflate. However, the period of exhalation should be longer than that of inhalation, even if by just a few seconds. Then begin the cycle again. Be warned that dizziness may occur, since the blood is absorbing much more oxygen than the body is used to.

Avoid the use of any kind of burned incense while practicing this kind of tantra breathing, as the process of burning smoke will compromise the oxygen content in their air and also introduce harmful residues of combustion into it.

By practicing this tantric technique of inhalation and exhalation, you are ensuring that your lungs are completely voided of used-up air and filled to capacity with fresh oxygenated air. Practicing this kind of breathing for ten minutes each morning and night will have a profound and lasting effect on your body and mind.

Stop "Feeding" Your Emotions

Hypnosis is the solution for many problems. Many overweight people have turned to hypnosis for help. Losing weight with hypnosis is easy. Hypnosis weight loss clients may quickly find themselves craving healthier foods and enjoying them more than they ever have enjoyed healthy food. They often report eating and enjoying foods they never even thought they would eat. The change can be amazing. Hypnosis weight loss clients generally feel less deprived and more in control of their eating than they did on other weight loss programs.

People with unresolved weight problems will often realize that they have been trying to "feed" their emotions. This is one of the reasons we have weight problems. We "eat" our emotions. When we do this we "feed" a whole range of other emotions. That only causes more problems. When we gain weight, our self- esteem suffers; our self-confidence and other feelings about ourselves are affected. Food does not satisfy emotional eating; it only causes more negative feelings such as guilt and stress from weight-gain. When we use food as a crutch for emotion we take in more calories than we need. The emotion does not change, but weight often does, with added pounds.

People are creatures of habit. We fall back on the patterns that we have learned throughout our lives, especially the habits we learned in childhood. Sometimes we keep childhood patterns for a lifetime. We may realize that we learned the wrong patterns and try to change them but we often fail. We can easily learn new things and develop new patterns of behavior using hypnosis. The key to this is changing our subconscious mind. If we do not change our subconscious mind we will quickly find ourselves falling right back into negative patterns of behavior in stressful times. Our subconscious mind controls everything we do. When we change our subconscious mind we change negative behaviors for good.

This is where hypnosis can help. Retraining the subconscious mind is a very simple process. Using relaxation and imagination, hypnosis clients are able to change their negative behaviors into positive behaviors. They can then benefit from these positive behaviors quickly. There are no pills to buy and take, there are no expensive diet foods to buy and no weight gain when you stop eating "their" food. The only cost of hypnosis is the cost of the program you choose and any reinforcing materials you buy. It really is a permanent lifestyle change anyone can live with.

How Do We Deal With the Shooting in CT Elementary School?

Several clients have asked, "I feel my heart is broken. Maybe I'm supposed to be heart-broken for a while. But what do you tell yourself when you hear the news like this, so that you can go on?"

Besides working out their own issues and growth, people remain stuck in the cycle of death & rebirth - samsara - cycling back into physical lives, by being caught by certain emotional experiences, especially sex, greed, horror, disgust, and fear. To evolve personally, and to dedicate energy to the Light, and to free ourselves from old pain, it is important not to get caught in these feeling states.

When you feel horrified or lost in your reaction to an event like this shooting, you become ungrounded. You are spinning in an acceleration of thoughts-and-feelings, caught by them, unable to be anywhere else. When you get ungrounded, you lose perspective, so the feelings become extreme. You aren't any help to yourself or others when you are lost in the horror. When you are ungrounded, your breathing is constricted and all in your chest.

It is possible to process the feelings and help the world heal. To do so:

First you must free your breathing. Take deep breaths and expel forcefully if your chest feels really tight. then, breathe into your belly, freeing your diaphragm.

Then, come back to your own reality by grounding yourself. Breathe into your hips, legs, feet. Breathe down into your feet until they start to tingle, and you can feel the floor, and the earth. Feel your awareness, and your energy mingle with the energy of the earth.

Then, keeping your feet and legs, become aware of the rest of your body - your lower back, spine, rib cage area, shoulders, arms, hands, upper chest, upper back, neck, and head. Occupy all of your body, so that you are fully present in yourself, as much as possible at this moment.

Next, center. Become aware of the place in which you feel yourself BEING. Ask yourself to settle into that place. Watch what happens as you settle into the still point in which you are one with You, and Spirit, with. Rest here.

Then, to keep from being trapped in (the totally normal reactions of) helplessness, depression, and rage, be proactive - use energy to make something positive happen. So, when you feel filled with your present reality within your own body, and in the present moment with Spirit, while staying grounded, send White Light to all the people affected by the shooting.

Do not deplete yourself. Stay in the place of channeling Spirit's energy for healing, staying grounded in yourself. Don't give energy to dark side by getting lost in images, or news casts, or fear thoughts. Keep breathing, grounding, centering, and radiating White Light to those affected. And there are lots.

Keep on your task. The more you ground and center, and then radiate White Light, the more you'll feed the side of good. You'll be helping the world. Blessings to you, and to us all.

Benefits of Relaxation to Your Fitness

Many people imagine taking a vacation, watching TV, or hanging out with friends when relaxing instead of using a few simple relaxation techniques that can have a large increase in the general fitness of an individual. People attending a fitness resort often feel large benefits when they take part in relaxing exercise programs, such as yoga and meditation; other relaxing activities, such as spending time in a sauna can replicate the activities of exercise in the individual.

Relaxation is the process of relieving the stresses of both the mind and the body; in terms of both mind and body a professionally administered massage at a weight loss camp can help increase the general health of people. Relaxation techniques can be used to decrease the heart rate of individuals and lower blood pressure; during a fitness resort stay relaxation techniques are often taught to residents in an attempt to increase their all round health. Completion of exercise and relaxation techniques, such as the ancient oriental art of Tai Chi can have a great effect on the body by helping to increase oxygen levels, which in turn increases energy levels. The removal of stress and negativity from both the mind and body is often taught at a weight loss camp in an attempt to boost energy levels and general health.

The benefits of a relaxing activity, such as spending a short time in a sauna or swimming in a warm pool are two fold. These activities, which are often part of a weight loss camp at a fitness resort widen the blood vessels through the application of heat to the body and allow a greater supply of blood to flow through the body. This can be of great help to people in their everyday lives and when attending a fitness camp as increased blood flow combined with sweating heavily can replicate a exercise activity such as a fast walk.

It is important to remember these things as you workout because stress affects the mind and the body. You have to learn to detox your mind and liberate yourself. Also, your muscles need time to heal and recover from your workouts. Hot baths and saunas are therapeutic in muscle recovery and you will feel ready for the next workout. By attending a fitness camp you will have these relaxation techniques integrated into your workout routines throughout the week, and they will teach you how to take it home to continue your fitness journey.

How to Determine That You Have Psychic Abilities

I'm sure you have heard these expressions many times:

" What a sad soul" - "What a gentle soul" or even "What a happy soul."

These are statements regularly used by many people, day in day out in their every day lives. It is not only a matter of how we are physically, that makes us feel good, it is what goes on inside at a soul level that gives us that feeling of lightness and happiness. No amount of material goods will bring that feeling to us. Long term anyway. Maybe a night out for a few drinks will dull the feeling of worry. Before long we realise it can only be a temporary fix. Restoring your well being is all about soothing and healing your spiritual self. Finding the place in each of us that has always known truth and love.

At times life deals us some fairly harsh lessons. Sometimes, the hurts can be so small we don't remember them. However, deep inside the very fibre of our being every hurt is stored. Clearing them away is very beneficial to our mental and physical well being. This cane how a person's Guide or Angel can step in through a Clairvoyant Medium ( a channeller)

What is a Spirit Guide?

The term "spirit guide" seems to mean something different to each and every person. However in general terms "Spirit Guide" means someone in the spirit world who has had an Earth life and who has chosen to help and support you.

There are other energies that have been described as spirit guides who are known as ascended masters, spiritual leaders, elementals, Gods and Goddesses, even ET's. They may come from an ancient civilisations or from many walks of life - from ever in fact everyone and everything, way back to the beginning of creation.

Guides can appear to us as being of any age, young to old. A spirit guide can be an old soul from any culture, era or country, they wait patiently to be able to help us whilst we are in this lifetime and can give vast amounts of wisdom to help us on our way. Remember we all have one no matter whether we believe or not! They are non judgemental, all loving and supportive of each of us.

What is the difference between a Spirit Guide and a Guardian Angel?

Generally Guardian Angels have not had an earthly life but are very wise and understanding of everything that there is as with Spirit Guides they are there to help and support us and shower us with their their protecting energy. This may be whoever we are, whatever our spiritual beliefs, even if we don't have any spiritual beliefs or are agnostic. Spirit Guides who are supporting people consciously walking a spiritual path, will be doing everything they can to help them on that path, be it mediumship, healing, mentorship, spiritual leadership, etc.

Does everyone have a Spirit Guide?

Yes, everyone has spirit guides. Some guides are unique to you, others will be helping other people as well, such as Archangel Michael, Jesus, Mary etc.

Can you have more than one Spirit Guide?

Yes, you can have a number of guides. Each guide may be with you for a different reason. This will be to support you during specific aspects of your life and journey. One or more guides will be your main guide/s. They will be with you all your life and will never leave you. When you learn to tune into them you will be able to receive so much guidance, you will begin to wonder how you did without this loving, dedicated friend of yours.

Do our Spirit Guides Change throughout my Life?

Yes, as you evolve and mature spiritually and as your circumstances change, your guides will change too. New guides, appropriate for new stages in your spiritual journey will move close to help you. Many people can sense when they have a new spirit guide close by and this of course is dependent on your current circumstances. Your Master Guide will never leave you.

Are our Spirit Guides unique to us?

Your guides work personally with you and for you.
They set out to guide and bring you comfort, to let you know that they understand your circumstances and they work so hard to help you along your path of learning.

How do spirit guides help us?

Gosh, in so many ways do our Guides help. They are so busy orchestrating "coincidences" and opportunities for us. These will be in accord with our thoughts, words and actions and will align with our spiritual aims and purpose. Our guides will do what they can to bring these opportunities to our attention. It is up to us to recognise these opportunities and opt choose whether or not to take them.

Have you ever though about how something may help you in a certain situation, then heard a song, seen a sign, met the perfect person to help you resolve your predicament or maybe you have picked up a book looking for just the right words and found that it falls open at exactly the right page? Maybe an answer to a dilemma or question has come about via a chance conversation or meeting. If the answer was unexpected, you can be pretty sure that your guides have been involved.

See your Spirit Guides as experienced mentors, protectors, helpers and friends. They are there to support, love and assist you. You may be connected with that guide through a previous incarnation and every guide has their own specific role, working both independently and in partnership with your other guides.

How long will my guide stay with me?

Your principal, or main guide, who will stay with you throughout your entire life. At other times you will be joined by one or more guides who are particularly skilled at helping with specific aspects or challenges. Some will be around you for a long time, others for shorter spells to help with specific issues. Do not fret that you have been abandoned if you think they are not around. It is generally your own worries and concerns that block these feelings of connection. Trust that they NEVER leave your side.

Can spirit guides a relatives from your family connection?

In a nut shell, yes. People who pass into Spirit will often choose to stay close to their loved ones on the Earth plane. However like all humans that pass over, we must have a time of healing and coming to terms with having died and also understanding the lessons that we had to learn or did not quite learn. A Spirit Guide has nearly always been an apprentice guide for some time before gaining the wonderful position of Spirit Guide. It generally means they have lived many lifetimes and gained enormous compassion, wisdom and patience to be as so responsible as to be guiding us here on this plane.

Can spirit guides be animals?

Again the answer is yes. Guides can certainly be animals and, like any other guide, will have a particular reason for being with you. They may have been a very special friend to you in your life, a dog, cat, horse, bird. All animal creatures are as special as we are both in life and afterlife.

Will the Guide know to come through for someone in their Reading?

Most definitely, a good Channeller, will prepare themselves by grounding themselves and working with the White Light of Spirit and indicate that they are having an appointment with a certain person. This way there can be no doubt that the Spirit Guide is there ready and waiting to communicate.

In learning that you have these amazing Spirits to guide and love you throughout your life makes finding out how they can help to carry the burden of your journey in this lifetime, all the more important.

The Confessions of A Dream Expert and The Fight Between God and Satan

When we translate the meaning of dreams according to Carl Jung's method of dream interpretation we understand God's words in the dream images. I managed to understand the meaning of dreams better than Jung because I was a literature writer.

I will explain why a literature writer was the ideal person to continue a psychiatrist's research. I will also help you understand your reality with my story. You'll understand the relationship existent between the meaning of dreams and your mental health. You'll also understand the meaning of the fight between God and Satan.

Since Carl Jung discovered that our dreams are produced by God, and since I discovered God's sanctity, I had to obey God's guidance. I had to remember the religious lessons I had during my childhood and my adolescence.

I studied in a Catholic school during twelve years. I had learned my religious lessons very well because I paid attention to this topic. However, I became an atheist after suffering from a tragic car accident when I was 15-years-old, while still studying in the same school.

My atheism helped me understand the importance of God's existence when I recovered my faith. It also helped me understand what kind of enemies I would have to face when I would have to prove God's existence to the world.

My religious education played an important role during my entire research, especially when I had to fight absurdity, while keeping my conscience alive. I had to pass through atheism in order to really believe in God after discovering scientific proof of His existence.

When I became a revolted atheist, I started criticizing my religion with the same arrogant spirit that characterizes all atheists. My atheism lasted six years. After this period of time I started believing again in the possibility of God's existence because I understood that I was ignorant.

However, the fact that I admitted the possibility of God's existence didn't mean that I had faith. I recuperated my faith only when I became a dream expert (in 1988) and I translated the symbolic meaning of the book I had written after suffering from the tragic car accident when I was a teen.

I stopped being an atheist when I finished writing this literary book, which was inspired by the unconscious mind that produces our dreams and gives us artistic talents. God was guiding me during the six years of atheism that marked my life only thanks to my literary talent, since I abandoned my religion.

I gradually discovered the truth about my destiny, after studying various scientific subjects, after becoming a dream expert, and after understanding the symbolic meaning of my literary work, which contained numerous dream symbols. I saw that I was a prophet.

The book I had written with my own hands during six years was in fact written by the unconscious mind. I was not the real author.

After the tragic accident I became an aggressive atheist, but my arrogance disappeared with time. As I kept writing the strange philosophical romance inspired by the unconscious mind, I understood that there were many complications that I was not taking into consideration when I was judging God's decision.

I ignored the real reasons why someone had to die. I also ignored how the world functions. I was so ignorant that I couldn't criticize anything.

After translating the symbolic meaning of the dream images contained in the strange romance I had written after the car accident, I understood that I was absurd. This book was trying to open my eyes.

I verified that God didn't abandon me, even though I had abandoned Him. I recovered my faith, ashamed of everything I had said and written when I was an aggressive atheist.

I understood the meaning of the car accident in my life. I found many answers.

God told me that I was receiving grace because I wrote a literary book with the intention to put an end to poverty and violence.

Receiving divine grace? I felt so important! I couldn't believe this was really real. I felt proud of myself because I had written this literary book, even though it was in fact inspired by the divine unconscious mind.

I thanked God because he saved me thanks to my literary talent. Then, I asked Him if I could do anything to help Him somehow. He was always very serious and sad.

God told me that He couldn't save me with the information He gave me in my literary work. I had to pass through psychotherapy.

He also told me that yes; I could do something to help Him. I had to be crucified in His place, and imitate Jesus' example. I had to attain sanctity in order to face craziness like a hero, and prove His existence to the world.

What?

I hated my position. I didn't want to prove God's existence to the atheistic world.

Nobody would believe me. I hated my mission.

I obeyed the divine unconscious mind against my will only because I recognized my ignorance, my absurdity, and my evilness.

However, I felt that God was like a blackmailer. He managed to imprison me into a deep trap. First of all, He showed me that I was totally absurd and I needed psychotherapy. Then, He told me that the only solution to my problem was to obey his guidance and attain sanctity.

I didn't want to have the behavior of a saint. I had never had such intention.

God told me this was indispensable. I had to agree with His plan and stop complaining. Otherwise, I had to bear His punishments.

He sent me many diseases and pains. He treated me as if I was a monster.

God was right. I really was mean, cruel, indifferent, and absurd. My heart was frozen. I had no doubt that I had to obey His guidance if I wanted to escape craziness, terror, and despair.

Thanks to my obedience (always against my will) I could discover the existence of the anti-conscience; our wild and primitive conscience. The biggest part of our brain belongs to our anti-conscience, which has satanic characteristics. This is why we are absurd, violent, and idiotic. Our anti-conscience is Satan.

I didn't want to be the one who would have to prove this bitter truth to the world, and also prove that God produces our dreams in order to save our sanity.

It was already more than too difficult to attain sanctity, or fight craziness. I didn't believe I would ever be able to attain sanctity. I was an impatient dictator like my father. The process of transformation I had to pass through would never end.

I hated my existence. All the joy I felt because I could discover so much after better understanding the dream language became a nightmare.

I hated God, I hated the Universe, and I hated the human race. I hated my destiny. I hated everything.

Why me?

After calming down, I concluded that I really had to make my decisions based on the knowledge I had acquired after continuing Carl Jung's research. I couldn't ignore my absurdity and my dependence on a safe psychotherapy.

I knew I could trust the divine wisdom, but I couldn't trust human doctors. There was no second alternative for me.

I agreed with the fact that I had to transform my personality, but only in a theoretical level. I basically disagreed with God's method.

He demanded too much from me. I obeyed His guidance besides disagreeing with His plan only because I understood my position.

God gave me a heavy cross, telling me that I was a terrible demon. I had to pass through many crucifixions.

I had to learn how to be humble in order to escape schizophrenia. I had to prove to the world that only the obedience to God's guidance can save humanity from craziness and terror by fighting my anti-conscience and winning this battle.

I hated my existence.

I obeyed God's guidance against my will, writing many blasphemies in numerous notebooks.

God took advantage of my ignorance.

If I had to become a psychiatrist, why didn't I study psychiatry in a university?

Who would trust me?

I had many objections to this plan. However, God told me that I had to obey like a soldier, because there was no solution. My obedience was a miracle He was trying to make during billions of years without success. Only if a demon like me would accept suffering in His place in order to prove His existence to the atheistic world, would the world really believe in the truth.

I had to always remember that I needed psychotherapy because I was a terrible monster and stop complaining because this was my destiny. I would become schizophrenic like my father without the miraculous unconscious psychotherapy in my dreams.

I would be a cruel dictator and rule the world with my absurd ideas. God was giving me the chance to attain sanctity and find sound mental health only because He was sorry for my victims.

I was the worst demon existent on Earth. I would generate a third world war and kill all children. I would eliminate the human race with my evilness and absurdity. This is why God chose me for this difficult mission. This is why He was trying to convince me that I had to attain sanctity.

He was in fact trying to prevent a big catastrophe. I was extremely dangerous.

God gave me a great literary talent in order to help me keep my sensitivity somehow alive, even though I was so cruel.

I had the impression that I was a good person because I was very generous when I was a child. My goodness was admired by the nuns at my school and by everyone around me. However, this generosity was the result of all the luxury I had. I lived like a princess.

I had the impression that there was goodness in my heart, but this was not true. When I became a teen my powerful anti-conscience provoked the tragic car accident with the intention to take advantage of my suffering, and generate a neurosis within my conscience. This is why I became so aggressive and cruel.

My destiny couldn't be different. I had inherited too many absurd tendencies and I was too violent.

My literary talent was very important for many reasons. It worked like psychotherapy for me, and it helped me continue Carl Jung's research. I had to be a literature writer in order to understand the meaning of craziness and logic. The cure for all mental illnesses depends on the elimination of hypocrisy.

As a literature writer, I learned how to criticize the human behavior. After the accident I started using irony to express my thoughts, while before I used to merely play with words and beautiful rhymes.

I started writing always with the intention to say something important. I was transformed into an authentic philosopher who was searching the meaning of life.

I used to criticize the human absurdity even before the accident, but after this shocking experience, my criticism became arrogant and offensive. The car accident made me understand the meaning of terror and uncover the global hypocrisy.

The unconscious mind made me criticize the human behavior with irony in order to help me easily identify the signs of hypocrisy. I also learned very well the meaning of logical thinking because I was an excellent writer.

I belonged to the introverted psychological type based on thoughts. I had great facility on analyzing what was logic or illogical.

However, I discovered that the cure for all mental illnesses is based on the development of our sensitivity, and not on our cruel rationalism. God showed me that without sensitivity, there is no balance.

I had to learn how to uncover the false logic contained in all types of absurd thoughts, which initially seem to be logical. This way, I would be able to denounce the false logic of the anti-conscience and show to the world the difference existent between the anti-conscience's thoughts, and the thoughts of our human conscience.

The absurd thoughts sent by the anti-conscience to our human conscience seem to be reasonable. We cannot perceive their evil and absurd side from the beginning.

God prepared me to be able to understand the absurdity of the anti-conscience in its early stages.

My literary talent and the observation of my father's behavior helped me clearly understand the difference between perfect mental health and absurdity. After curing many people through dream therapy for two decades I learned how to put a definitive end to the anti-conscience's tyranny.

If I would study psychology and psychiatry in the universities of the ignorant world, I would only waste my time repeating the common mistakes of the human race.

God's plan was perfect.

However, I couldn't agree with His plan even after understanding its importance because this plan was based on my suffering.

God was always reminding me that I should be grateful because I had the chance to prevent schizophrenia and learn how to be wise.

Today I'm more than grateful for the psychotherapy of the divine unconscious mind. I'm also grateful because I can cure invincible mental illness based on the unconscious guidance in dreams.

Today I agree with God's plan because I saw that His plan is really brilliant.

However, when I had to bear being humiliated, condemned, and despised by everyone, I believed that God's plan was ridiculous.

Whenever I would mention what I had discovered after continuing Carl Jung's research, everyone would tell me that I was probably wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about.

Nobody respected my research and my studies.

Nobody would ever recognize the fact that I was a dream expert, and everything I had discovered. Nobody would ever pay attention to my existence. Nobody would even give me the chance to prove the value of my work.

Fortunately, even though I basically hated God's plan, I was extremely obedient. I understood that I was in danger. I knew that I could trust God's wisdom, but I had to be afraid of my dangerous ignorance.

Then, a big miracle happened.

The computer was invented!

The internet united all countries of the world.

The internet was especially created for me. It was the best way to transmit to the entire world the knowledge I had acquired after continuing Carl Jung's research, without depending on anyone's recognition.

However, who said that those who had top rankings would simply let my websites take their place?

I had numerous enemies. They tried to kill me from the beginning of my adventures as an online business owner.

Who sad that internet marketing was simple?

First of all, who sad that I remembered the English lessons I had when I was young?

I had to rewrite in English the scientific book I had written during 19 years in the complicated Greek language.

Who said that the world would believe that a simple woman like me could discover the cure for all mental illnesses after continuing Carl Jung's research?

Who said that the world cares about God's existence or about reading His words in their dreams?

The world keeps being ruled by atheism, materialism, violence, immorality, hypocrisy, and greed.

When will my work put and end to craziness and terror?

Good Health Is Good Wealth

Good health as they say is always in your hands but one must know that it takes a lot of hard work to be in good health. For you to have less problems with your health you will simply have to check on the following three things and they are;

• Food
• Exercise
• Rest

These are the three most important areas that you must attend to. Now first and foremost you must know that your body is very intelligent and thus you must have a schedule worked out for it to operate with. The schedule you make should contain what you have planned to feed your body physically, mentally and spiritually. You will have to stick to this schedule religiously if you desire to see positive results. Ensure that each activity that you are to engage in has its time set apart.

The heart is the engine of your body and therefore when it is weak it will not perform its duties as required. For you to address your heart you will have to do some cardiovascular exercises and you do not have to go to an expensive gym for this one simply buy some good running shoes and you will be having a better heart with a light body. This is because running is very instrumental when it comes to making the whole body lose weight uniformly. Jogging is also advised and you can do this for fifteen minutes every day. This is a simple exercise that can keep away complicated health problems.

It is said that old is gold and when it comes to real good working out then nothing can beat push-ups and press ups. This will build your resistance and tone your upper body. This simply means that there will be no unhealthy fat in your body. Not only that but your body becomes flexible and is not prone to serious injuries from accidents that we can call simple. Now there is no doubt that you are what you are as a result of the activities you did in the past and if you did not eat healthy do not expect to be healthy. If there is a disease that has gradually caught up with us it is obesity.

People are throwing away healthy food and substituting it with oily and fatty foods that end up clogging our arteries. Of course when you are below twenty five you will not realize this soon but things will get worse for you as you enter your forties because your body will start saying no and start shutting down till you get a heart attack. Do you have to wait for this ugly scenario to take place? No. prevention is better than cure therefore avoid the unhealthy foods and instead of pizza try cooking for yourself sometime. It will not kill you but ordering a lot of fries and burgers will.

Enough with the food and exercise, one thing that many health experts tend not to cover is sex. Sex is good and really wonderful but nowadays sex has lost all its decency. People are getting infected with STI'S and this is something that affects your health. It is therefore important to have a responsible sex life and all will go well. Last of all rest when you feel worn out so that you can regenerate your energy because after all is said and done you will become healthy, wealthy and wise.

Who You Are and Bringing Your Gift

~A truly strong person does not need the approval of others any more than a lion needs the approval of sheep. Vernon Howard~

WHO YOU ARE AND BRINGING YOUR GIFT

Just look at you! You are something else! You are just too much!

Haven't we all heard these words at some point in our lives? Well, hopefully we have.

What was happening at the time? Perhaps you were at a party and were having a great time laughing and talking and even dancing. Maybe you were being theatrical in our way of expressing ourselves, making faces and hand motions to carry our point across to others. Or you were in your art studio creating or in your sound booth singing!

How did that feel, being fully self expressed, not even having to think at all, but rather feeling ourselves pouring on every level? Some might call it the zone. Think of your art, your craft, the thing you love to do the most in life, what you are passionate about. Are you analyzing it, struggling with it, feeling pressed by it, uncomfortable with it, or is it simply a flow, an easy outpouring of ourselves? You know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, when you are being fully you and in that zone.

You also know when you are not being you but seeking to please, aiming to be something you are not, someone you think others want you to be. In other words, scrunching all up into a box to be what you think others want you to fit into. This might mean dressing differently than you would, talking differently, putting on what and who you are not. Now feel how that feels. Not so good? I say!

Feel how it feels to be fully you, being in the zone of your real and authentic you! Fell how it feels to seek to be someone others might want you to be, or you think they want you to be. Which feels better?

Being fully you is the gift you bring. It is your life experience, your story, you victories and your failures, you joys and your sadness, your gains and your losses. Honoring every bit of who you are, in all your reality, allows you to deliver that gift. This is the heart of the matter. Fully honoring and integrating every part of you, embracing fully who you are, leaves nothing to hide, nothing to pretend, nothing that needs covering. You see you naked, real, in all your foibles and human bean-ness. Being the real you, allows the real you to be.

The parts you deny, cover, suppress, hide, dishonor, call for you to continue to be that which you are not. What you press down, presses YOU down. All you deny about you, denies the real you. What you cover, covers the real you. What you suppress, suppresses you. Embracing and loving every bit of who you are, even the parts that may not seem to be desirable qualities, is your true self. Bringing YOU into wholeness then allows you to express who you are, being fully you.

So ask yourself, "where am I incongruent with my true self and what parts of me can I honor and embrace?".

You cannot deliver something you are not. You cannot bring a message that is not fully you.

You will fail to deliver that fully, if it is not you. You will not be able to express your true self if all parts of you are not congruent or integrated together. It will show and others will see it is not you. Besides that, YOU will know because you will feel the struggle in every part of your body.

Why would you seek to be anything but you? Some change and alter who they are to please others and seek approval. Approval seeking is a lost cause and worthless pursuit. Why? Because it will never come to fruition. That's right. One who seeks approval from others will never be okay, never meet approval, never be accepted nor receive satisfaction. Approval seeking is a hungry monster that can never be satiated. Not only that but it hurts when the results are not achieved, which they never are.

Here are 9 reasons why you no longer care about people's approval:

1) A happy life can be lived without other's approval. Just because someone may not like us or what we do or say, it does not mean there is something wrong with us. You are a whole person, and complete and there is nothing outside of you that you need in order to feel whole.

2) You won't be liked by everybody. Not everyone will like you and some will continue to talk about you. They are simply someone who feels the need to talk about someone. Hey, it gives others a rest if they are talking about you!

3) It is a time waster. Why waste your time and energy on other people's opinions.

4) It drains you. It takes a lot of your energy to fuss and fume about other people's thoughts.

5)You are free and have the freedom to be YOU. When you let go of what they say or do, you have all the freedom to be fully you, coming into all you are and can be!

6) You run your life and they run theirs. This is the divine right of every one of us, The free choice to live how we live and let other's live as they do. When we fully free ourselves to live our lives, in the process we free other as well!

7) You can have peace inside.Having the inner peace of knowing you are whole and complete not needing others to tell you that you are, is immense! We all want peace and to be happy and as soon as you stop caring about what "they" think, you have found the source to peace and happiness.

8) You can never control what others think of you. Have fun trying. We all came from different worlds, different backgrounds, a different reality that is unique to each of us. This reality that was built from the time we were born, based on our thoughts, beliefs, experiences, all sourced from the way we were raised. I see black you see white, I see something as wrong and you may see it as right. I love green and you might hate green.

9) You are the only person that can give approval to YOU! When you get, inside yourself, who you are and all you bring, your real value and give approval to yourself, that is the only human approval you need! You are free!

Well, "what to do" you may ask? The answer is very simple, my friends. It is summed up in three words; "Just be YOU".

It is so easy to just be YOU. It is so difficult to be someone you are not. Being you, is all you truly know how to be. However, one must work hard to be someone and something else. To be thrown about by varying ideas, thoughts and opinions, to meet other people's approval is like seeking to set anchor in a hurricane. One will never know direction, be tossed about continually, and be in chaos all the time. Hurt, pain, fear, sadness, unworthiness are all feelings that come with seeking the approval of others.

The prize, the gift, the blessing, does not come from accolades from others. It is quite the opposite. The gems and treasures of life comes from being full you, being present to all that you are, bringing what you bring in delivering the gift of who you are in the world.

If you are not you, who will be? Who will bring your unique self out there and make a difference like only you can? No one. The world will have missed out. Why? Because you were too busy, working all hard to be someone else. Life has passed you by in the hurricane of life and you have no anchor in you.

To drive home this point, essentially you have died to who you are and the eulogy has been told. It is not too late however. You can rewrite it now. Stop living to please, but please live!Stop seeking others approval, be who you truly are, letting your light shine and bring your gift. Deliver to the world what only you have been blessed to deliver, your unique and fully expressed self.

So who are YOU and what gift do you bring?

The Best Memory Enhancement Techniques That Will Help You Remember

Most people complain that their memory is poor because they can hardly recall what they learned in class, they forget their password or pin and worst of all, names of new colleagues and acquaintances that they have meet. This is quite frustrating and most people are willing do everything to improve their mental acuity. Poor memory is brought about by lack of recollection.

Recollection only takes place when the memory retains any content that has been relayed to the brain. This content is recorded and assimilated into the memory, making it easier to recall it. Therefore, it is essential to use the following memory enhancement techniques that work quite well.

Exercise
Physical exercise not only prevents illnesses, such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes that can eventually lead to memory loss, but also oxygenates the brain. This stimulates circulation of blood within the brain and helps in improving mental acuity. Physical activities also lead to healthy cell regeneration by stimulating the release of essential brain chemicals. Indulging in activities that demand heightened attention and focus, such as playing tennis enhances the memory.

Feeding the brain
The brain requires proper nutrition and hydration for it to remain healthy and perform its functions properly. Eating a balanced diet composed of vegetables and fruits, healthy fats and whole grains is an effective memory enhancement technique. Drinking adequate water helps the brain electrochemical system to function better. Research has also showed that consuming foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids promotes brain health. Such food include cold water fish, such as herring, tuna, trout, sardines, salmon, mackerel and halibut. People who do not like fish are advised to take fish oil supplements that are widely available in the market. Other foods that are rich in omega-3 include soybeans, walnuts, ground flaxseed, pumpkin seeds and flaxseed oil. Research has also ascertained that consuming foods rich in high saturated fats, such as ice cream, butter, whole milk, cheese and red meat impairs the memory

Sleeping well
Sleep plays an integral role in enhancing the memory. Sleep deprivation prevents the brain from operating optimally and minimizes the brain's problem solving capabilities, critical thinking capacity and creativity. Sleep helps the brain to relax, improving memory consolidation and recollection. People are advised to sleep for at least six to eight hours if they want the brain to work well.

Avoiding stress
Stress brings about many medical problems, such as high blood pressure, chronic pain and depression. Stress, if not treated early, not only damages the brain cells, but also destroys the hippocampus, which is the part of the brain that helps in retrieval of old memories and formation of new ones. Depression takes a heavy toll on the brain and that's why some of its symptoms include memory loss, poor concentration and comprehension.

Brain workout
The brain needs to be constantly stimulated so that it can continue developing and growing. Engaging in brain games helps in keeping the memory active and is also fun. Brain games that can be found freely online enhance concentration, attention and the memory. Memory is similar to the muscular strength, which improves upon use. Working out the brain regularly improves its ability of recalling and processing information.

Why We Can't Fall Asleep

We all know that we require sleep, but it's still a mystery to science, why we can't sleep. One thing is clear, science does not have all the answers.

Our bodies run on a twenty four hour cycle known as our biological clock or circadian rhythm. The circadian rhythm controls our wake/sleep cycle. If we honor this rhythm and live in harmony with our biological clock, sleep will come naturally.

There is a lot of speculation on this subject we call, insomnia. I listed some reasons that may surprise you.

Ten Reasons Why People Don't Fall Asleep

1. First ask yourself; are you ready to sleep? Certain personality types may feel like there is so much to do, but not enough hours in the day. When you deny yourself enough sleep you may develop a sleep disorder.

2. You should dedicate an area such as the bedroom that invites you to sleep, not the couch where the big screen television is located. You know the feeling when you are on vacation and you can't wait to get home to your own bed.

3. We don't give enough thought to the purchase of a proper mattress, a primary sleep aid. Specific support unique to your needs can help you fall asleep and stay asleep. People seldom consider the condition of their mattress after so many years of use.

4. Watching TV in bed at bedtime, is known to stimulate your senses which can cause a hormone, adrenalin, to be released through your veins causing a fight or flight reaction that can keep you awake.

5. If you share a bed with a partner their sleeping patterns (his or her snoring) may be keeping you awake.

6. Stress, is blocked negative energy and is a major contributor to sleeplessness at night. Read about the ways you relieve stress quickly and easily?

7. Dieting will keep you awake as your body undergoes a natural response. The brain is notified that the body is hungry and will release hormones into the blood stream that will keep you awake. Read on to see a list of the foods you should eat to help you sleep.

8. Research reveals, there is a receptor in the human eye that reacts to light. This receptor triggers the brain to suppress the production of melatonin which is our body's natural sleep aid. Should you take a melatonin supplement?

9. Computers give off electromagnetic energy in the form of vibrations. If you work in your bedroom the computer screen should be completely turned off. The exciting images and flashing lights can trigger this receptor.

10. The temperature in the room must suit your sleep needs. Too hot or too cold will make it hard to sleep. What's the right temperature that will help you sleep?

Science has done extensive research on sleep, and has determined that we need at least eight hours of sleep each night for our bodies to rejuvenate. The reason that some of us can't fall asleep and stay asleep for eight hours might not be so scientific after all, but it may be something else...

Now that you know some of the reasons why you can't sleep if you click the link you will discover new tips and tools that can help you to fall asleep at amzn.com/B007X2SBZ4. "The Secret to Falling Asleep and Staying Asleep" examines the whole story just visit the link: amzn.com/B007X2SBZ4.

Healing Your Life From the Inside Out, Breaking the Bubble of Illusion

Often when we think about healing ourselves, we first think about our emotional or mental self - then our physical body. We rush to a psychiatrist, or doctor - hoping for relief, a cure, or a fix for all of our problems... for a magical pill that will take it all a way. It is this "dis-ease" within ourselves that causes the turmoil in our outer world.

Physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually - if we are not okay with ourselves on the inside, we will manifest this into our external reality and we will probably not like the results.

The majority of us have created a bubble around us, protecting us from hurt and pain that we have experienced or from things we don't want to face. We pretend that we are happy with our life, our job, our spouse and the circumstances that surround us - when in fact, deep down we are wishing for something different.

When we are confronted about who we are, how we are, or about the problems that are clearly evident in our world - we just don't want to hear it. We get angry, we cry, we plug our ears and we say LALALALALALALA... "I can't hear you". We protect the bubble as if it is who we are, as if our safety, sanity and sanctity depends on it. There is no way we can allow anyone to burst our bubble and if for some reason they do, we feel exposed and vulnerable.

The truth is that those feelings are always there, we've just become so good at living in our bubble that they aren't noticed by us most of the time. When these feelings do "pop up" and become a problem, we sometimes attempt to cover them with alcohol or drugs - or any addiction that helps us avoid them.

The biggest problem with this type of behaviour (besides risk to our health) is that we are denying the very essence of who we are - we are suffocating ourselves with our painful experiences, instead of facing them. We refuse to let go of all the hate, anger and sadness that sits inside of us, and this is what is killing us! We need to let go of all the negativity and begin to forgive those who have hurt us - and more importantly we need to forgive ourselves.

I guess the reason I can write about this with such knowledge is because I have been living in a bubble for many years now. I have been denying who I really am at the core of my being because I wanted to protect her. It is in this protecting of myself that I have completely lost touch with that part of me, I have lost touch with the people around me and subsequently I have allowed someone else to live my life for me. I have been denying what I really want, and need because I haven't been present to get what the deepest part of my being really needs. And that is Love.

We have to learn love ourselves, completely and honestly - despite everything that we have experienced. We are worthy of love! Why am I so sure you ask? Because we are made from this Love. Some Great Force that sits in the very centre of all of us, created everything that we could ever need from an Unconditional, Unbiased Love. This Love is Ours, but we will never experience it while we are denying the very truth of who we are, while we are trapped in the very bubble that we have created in order to keep us safe.

We can not heal until we know who we truly are; and that is the person that is past all of the pain, experiences, labels and ideas of who we are that are limiting to our being. It's time to burst the Bubble of Illusion and heal our lives!

The most important thing to remember, in all of this, is that the world is your mirror - you must begin to heal your true self before you will see a change in the external world around you; this includes any physical, mental or emotional problems you are experiencing.

To begin healing, you will need to know where to start. Healing the Self is more than a way of healing, it is an incredible journey of self-exploration and discovery! You will also find many other great healing resources available at OneWorldHealing.net that can help you on your journey! Why Is It Important to Be Physically and Mentally Healthy?

Why is it important to be physically and mentally healthy? Why should people bother with exercising, dieting and making sure that both their bodies and their minds are in their most ideal states? There are many benefits to being healthy, and there are many reasons why people choose to ignore them. However, some facts are just too true and too serious to ignore.

Why Should You Be Physically Healthy?

• Reduce risks of diseases. There's no way this could be denied. People who are healthy have better chances of fighting off cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and, as some researchers suggest, even cancers. Numerous studies have found the link between physical activity and lowered risks for diseases to be quite strong. This is probably the best benefit that good health can provide.

• Weight control. Being healthy means that you might have better control when it comes to how much you weigh. Healthy people are, most of the times, disciplined people who have learned to say no to heaping second servings and to say yes to exercises even if it takes them hours. All of these and more are why is it important to be physically and mentally healthy.

• Improves balance and widens range of activities. As you age, you may feel that you are being limited about the things that you can do. The things that you might have done for hours when you were young, you may not even bear to do for a minute. Daily activities might tire you right away. Exercises and many other physical activities can not only help strengthen your muscles and bones, but can also improve balance and prevent falls.

Why Should You Be Mentally Healthy?

• Reduces stress. Stress, in moderated amounts, can be beneficial to health. Stress can give you energy, and makes you productive and more alert. However, stress in excess can be severely damaging. It can increase the risks of certain cardiovascular diseases, and can get in the way of the body's natural rate of metabolism, thus leading to weight gain. Stress has also been linked to absenteeism and accidents in the workplace. If it can be effectively managed, your chance of getting promoted also increases.

• Improves mood and overall quality of life. Too much anger, confusion, fear, irritability and anxiety may be signs of mental unhealthiness. Happiness may be more easily attained if a person is mentally healthy. People who are mentally healthy will have healthier relationships, and have better physical health. They can also manage their problems better and can make better life choices.

Conclusion

Why is it important to be physically and mentally healthy? It is important because it can give you a longer and more fruitful life. If you get all these benefits from being physically active, how much more can it help if you are mentally active as well? Mental health and physical health are undeniably interlinked. Physical activities help manage stress and pressure better, while mental health improves the effectiveness of physical activities.

How to Protect Yourself From Common Age-Related Health Concerns

Why do we fear old age so much? A Swedish sociologist Lars Tornstam describes this by asking what a 10 year old would say if we asked him what it would be like to be 20. It would be awful to him. There would be no play time. There would be no summer vacation. He would have to get a job! But at twenty he would look back at the age of 10 and say: "There's no way I'd want to be 10 anymore. I have so much more freedom now. I'm making money. I can do whatever I want." But what if you asked him what it would be like to be 40? "It would be awful. I'd be stuck in the rut of a job. I'd be stuck with a wife and kids." And so on. But the end of Dr. Tornstam's analogy is our concept of old age. For some reason our culture fears old age. In general we fear becoming elderly. Our concept of old age is associated with a lack of contentment with life.

Why is this? Why do we despise grey hair and wrinkles? Why do we fear those "golden years"? Why do we scramble to embrace the concept of youth? Why are we so quick to be associated with that insecurity and inexperience and foolishness of youth? How insecure, inexperienced and foolish of us! What do we think we will lose with old age? Is it the excitement of a new experience, or the opportunity of new tests and challenges? Is it the virility of sexual experiences?

It was a typical clinic day. I was seeing patients with diabetes and hypertension, colds, and a recent broken bone. The next patient on my schedule was Carl Fisk. I had never seen him before. He was scheduled to be in my clinic because his regular doctor was gone that day. The reason he was here was for a medication refill. I looked through his chart and found that he was 82 years old and about 3 years ago his wife of 51 years had died of breast cancer. "Oh no" I thought. "This is going to be a totally depressing visit". I had thoughts that his visit would be filled with discussions about depression and sadness. With this I took a deep breath and entered the room.

Mr. Fisk sat in the corner of the room reading a magazine. He had shiny grey hair and a bright smile. As I walked in he stood up to shake my hand. He wore circular glasses that shined in the light of the clinic room. He was well dressed with khaki pants and a tucked in, blue plaid shirt. I introduced myself, "so what brings you here today?" I asked, prepared for an onset of tears and a possible discussion of antidepressant medications.

"Well doctor", he began, with more energy than I had expected. Mr. Fisk had a strange smile on his face. Like a 10 year old who just got into a jar of cookies. "The last doctor I saw gave me a prescription for Viagra, and I wanted to see if I could get a refill."

Caught off guard I stammered and looked through his chart. He was in the clinic only 2 weeks ago and had a prescription for 10 Viagra pills. Did he use them up already? After regrouping, I continued on. In his chart there were no contraindications for him to take Viagra, and he had no adverse side effects. There was no reason he couldn't continue taking this medication. As I was writing his script (for twice the supply and refills), he said a peculiar thing. "You know doctor," he began. "People think that as you get older, you can't have sex anymore, but I haven't been this sexually satisfied in years."

We shook hands as he left and I moved on to my next patient. But I couldn't stop thinking about how happy he was. My initial notion was that he would be a sad lonely old man. But he was the exact opposite.

Over the next few months, I saw Mr. Fisk a few more times. Each time he was as friendly and happy as the time before. We began to get to know each other better. He had a new girlfriend, and was busy spending time with her and his daily golfing games. At the time, I was doing a Geriatrics Fellowship and it was exciting for me to find an elder so excited about life. We talked about this for a while, and he invited me over to his apartment to see for myself. I decided to take him up on the offer. After working around his busy schedule of golf, dating, and volunteer activities, we agreed to meet on a Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Fisk lived in a retirement community with a combination of houses and apartments, surrounded by wooded trees and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. His apartment was on the first floor in the center of the community. He answered the door with the same smile he always had, and invited me in. Mr. Fisk was a humble man. His apartment was Spartan in its decoration. As I entered, the kitchen was on the right, and the living room on the left. There were only a few pieces of furniture in the living room. A comfortable old green couch and a soft matching arm chair opposite it. There was no television in the room. There was just an old stereo with a record player. Mr. Fisk invited me to sit down on his couch and he sat in the arm chair. I started by asking him how his girlfriend was. His smile immediately broadened and his eyes beamed. "Oh, you mean my sweetheart!" he suggested, "well, we just got engaged! You have to see a picture of her!" Mr. Fisk jumped to his feet and ran to another room. He returned with a 4x6 framed picture of himself standing next to a lady with his right arm wrapped around her shoulder. She looked about his age. They were both smiling broadly. Her name was Janet. As we continued our conversation, he could not stop talking about his "sweetheart". It was as if he were a teenager smitten by love. Even when the subjects of our conversation would change he would find something about his new fiancé to bring up in the conversation.

During the afternoon, we talked about other aspects of his life. He was a retired pastor, he played golf almost every day with a group of friends. He volunteered in the community at a Nursing Home. His previous marriage had been wonderful. He had three children who were spread all around the country, but he was still very close to them. I left his apartment that afternoon with a sense that his days were busier, and fuller than mine seemed to be.

Since that day, Mr. Fisk married Janet. His children, came from all over to be at the wedding and he had a honeymoon at a beach in South Carolina.

Carl Fisk is extremely happy with life. He is content, and the opposite of what we think old age has in store for us. We fear the onset of old age as if it is the first nail of our coffin. But with old age we don't have to lose our ability to enjoy sex, we don't lose the excitement to fall in love again. When we are older and full of experiences, by stepping back and looking at our life, we only change the paradigm of what happiness is. Maybe that is what we don't realize when we fear old age.

Your Ultimate Guide To Reiki

Reiki is a technique developed by a Buddhist monk in 1922. It is widely accepted as a method for therapy, stress reduction, relaxation and some professionals even consider it to be a form of medicine.

How Does It Work?

Reiki is based on the concept of an unseen energy force constantly flowing through and around us that actually causes us to be alive. If we have a high amount of this energy force, we will become healthy and happy. On the other hand, a low amount of this life force energy is considered to actually cause sickness, depression and general unhappiness.

Practitioners believe that reiki works through transferring this universal energy through the palms in their hands. Effectively, they are channeling this positive energy through their hands and onto the person.

This technique is actually surprisingly simple to teach. A student could simply attend a class with a master known as an "attunement". During this class, the master would pass the ability to access an unlimited amount of life force onto the student. In theory, this would then grant access to happiness and general wellbeing.

Types Of Reiki

There are roughly 25 different types of reiki, the following are the most widely used and important.

Karuna- The effect of Karuna can actually be transferred through chanting and is often used to help overcome addictions.

Usui- This was named after the founder of reiki, Mikao Usai. This was the first type of Reiki, the rest have branched from this.

Tibetan- Using many of the techniques used in Usai reiki, it is considered to be a very powerful Tibeten method for attunement.

Rainbow- This works by using the 7 main chakras within your body.to help repair the physical and mental aspects.

Gendai- Gendai can be translated into modern. The creator brought a strong Buddhist aspect to the original teachings.

Practitioners of reiki believe the only reason we are alive is due to the life force flowing inside us. They believe that it is flowing through us via the pathways known as nadis, meridians and chakras, as well as an aura surrounding us. This life force is used to feed out organs and major cells inside our bodies. If there is a lack of life force flowing to these areas, this is when we will experience bad health. They use reiki during these circumstances, in order to increase the levels of positive life force and increase happiness and health as a result.

Revitalize Your Energy for Fall

As we go into the Fall season, so much about Nature begins to slow down after the hectic Summer months. As the days get shorter, our bodies want to revert to our natural inclination which is to prepare for Winter and Winter's hibernation time. Because of this, it's possible for our energy levels to begin to drop.

But we, unlike Nature's animal kingdom, have our busy lives and it's necessary for us to keep up our energy and vitality at the highest and best levels possible.

Here are a few tips to help you accomplish this:

1 - Turn on more lights - Whether at home or at the office, turn on more lights. This helps ward off the natural sleepiness that darkness brings. Also, if you have access to and can use light bulbs which give off a natural light spectrum, these are most helpful. If you are prone to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), this type of light bulb is most important for you to counteract your condition.

2 - Go outside and breathe deeply - The cooler, dryer air of Fall can be stimulating. Breathe it in deeply to invigorate yourself and to clear out your lungs and other toxins from your body.

3 - Stick to a healthy diet - We are fast approaching the holiday season with all its candies and rich foods. By eating healthy now, you can enjoy a few more indulgences later. Also you will help avoid many illnesses that start going around this time of year. And don't forget to drink plenty of water and take your vitamins and supplements.

4 - Stick to you are exercise regimen - Exercise gets your metabolism fired up and contributes to improving your overall health, immune system and stamina.

5 - Get plenty of rest - Even though you want to be energetic, you also need to balance with good, restful sleep to maintain your body's equilibrium. One without the other can cause health issues.

6 - Make plenty of R and R time for you and your family - Get out and enjoy the benefits of the season; attend a Fall Festival or carnival, take walks and enjoy the colors that Nature provides this time of year. These add happiness and joy to your life to lift your spirits and your energy.

7 - Open up the windows - Our homes need to breathe too. Open up and let the air in to clear out all the old energy, mustiness, smells, etc.

8 - Meditate and bring the energy in - During your daily meditations, see yourself pulling in bright, energetic light; see it replenishing your natural batteries. Spiritual energy is just as important as physical energy, so welcome it in daily.

By using these tips, you will have an energy filled, joyful, and productive Fall season.

Why Dissolving Your Fears Are Crucial To Your Success

I was watching the Big Bang Theory the other day...

Normally I loved this show to bits... the characters are so funny, so human, and the situations (plus Sheldon... ) are just brilliant.

I had brought the 1st season DVD set, and was watching an episode where we were introduced to Sheldons twin sister. She was tall, dark, and pretty, and predictably the other characters fancied her...

Now normally this wouldn't bother me! After all, most comedys have a pretty girl, where guys swoops to get into her good graces.

And for a while at least, the swooping wasn't too bad.

But then it got sickening. As the story progressed, the sister got far too much attention needed, and the usual date-asking game went on for too long...

... to the degree where each guy character took turns to knock on poor Pennys door, and asking the sister out... and all the while, the sister (politely, of course) said, 'No'

When it cam to Rajs turn, the poor guy didn't even speak (the character in the 1st season had trouble speaking to girls) and made a small wimper that excruciatingly lasted for a good minute (although it felt like more), before walking down the stairs. The sister took it in good spirits (mentioning something about a dog) and finally said goodbye to Sheldon. Then the episode ended.

I hated it! I hated the constant swooning, and (regretably) could relate to what some of the guys went through. Pretty women had power... and they knew it!

I remember a few of my earlier experiences, that guys would sometimes drool over women that had the looks, and the very thought disgusted me.

So much so, that for the next 5 hours, I was practically in a bad mood, going through emotional turmoil, before a thought hit me...

Why am I doing this?

This happens a lot. The producers are only trying to produce a comedy after all... Some people will like that stuff, and some people will hate it!

Not everyones taste are the same!

Then I thought about a comment made by Steve Pavlina on his site, about that fact that if you have an emotional reaction towards something, in nearly all cases, it means that a part of you sees that situation inside yourself.

Fast forward to William Burlmans tip for out-of-body exploration. "Confronting and dissolving the energy manifestations of my own fears, limits and blocks are essential for my spiritual growth"

What had happened, was what started out to be a good day (I had previously felt good before watching the episode) had turned bad, all because my soul showed me some, 'past programming' and I hadn't recognised it as such!

Even in good times, you will always see a manifestation of fear of some sort, and its primary reason is for you to simply, 'dissolve it'.

Why?

Because you are not thought... although you may use thought to create (in fact you do... )

You are not emotion... although you may use emotion to create (in fact you do, as emotion is, 'Energy in 'motion')

You are soul... unconditional love, unlimited creativity and infinite!

Period!

Therefore, you must always seek to dissolve any fear you have. Attack your fears... be relentless (if needs be).

Best way of attacking them... project unconditional love towards them!

Pros and Cons of Corporate Wellness Plans

It is important to consider both the pros and cons of corporate wellness plans. While employee health and wellness is certainly a goal worth striving towards, business owners should always consider the costs and consequences of such an endeavor. If poorly executed, workplace health programs may become an unnecessary company expense. Additionally, employees may feel singled out if emphasis is only placed on a certain areas of employee health-such as weight loss or smoking. However, the benefits of corporate wellness plans are also worth considering. An effective wellness plan may result in higher employee performance and production levels. As well, a significant reduction in company health care costs, make corporate wellness plans a valuable financial option. Carefully considering the benefits and limitations of workplace health programs will allow business owners to choose corporate wellness plans that work best for their company.

The advantages of using corporate wellness plans are many. Promoting the overall well being of one's employees sends a message that the company is truly looking out for each worker's best interests. Good employee health not only lowers a company's health care costs, but also endorses individual employee health and wellness. When each worker is able to perform at his or her highest levels, increases in employee performance and production result. This profits the company both corporately and individually. As well, workplace health programs build a sense of community and support structure for long-term health and wellness. For example if a weight-loss program or running group is started, the employees who join the programs will find themselves surrounded by fellow workers who share the same passions. This sense of community and support system often lasts much longer than the program itself, resulting in long-term employee wellness.

It is also critical to evaluate the negatives associated with corporate wellness plans. Many employers do not consider the costs or consequences of implementing certain programs. Financial planning is crucial to implementing successful workplace health programs. While health care costs will be reduced in the long run, initial start-up costs must be considered. Whether hiring wellness experts, nutritionists, or building an on-site gym, start-up expenses must be accounted for. A carefully crafted financial plan that keeps the company's best interests in mind is critical to the success of every corporate wellness plan. Business owners must ask themselves if a gym is truly necessary or consider how his or her employee's would respond to a weight loss program. A keen understanding of how one's company functions will save business owners who are considering implementing corporate wellness plans, from expending unnecessary funds.

Employers should consider not using funds from their employee's paychecks to pay for the implementation of corporate wellness plans. Most workers already allocate a significant amount of their paycheck towards health care and insurance. Employees may resist workplace health programs that cause them to give up more of their finances. In this case, an employer should consider inexpensive means by which the company can implement wellness goals-such as a weight loss program with a gift card to a popular store as the prize. Another con to consider is that some employees may feel that a corporate wellness program has been specifically targeted at them-especially in the cases of weight loss or smoking. The poor health effects of these conditions are well-known, and often cause pain or embarrassment to employees who struggle with overcoming them to live a healthier lifestyle. Knowing one's company again in this instance, is essential. While some offices may find great success with competitive wellness programs, others may benefit more from an educational health approach. Hiring a wellness expert to offer additional solutions may reduce negative outcomes associated with workplace health programs.

Getting a Healthy Living Make-Over

We all want to be forever young, not necessarily in our actions, but in our physical bodies and our mindset. Hopefully, we don't carry the live forever young philosophy too far and act like children when we're adults. However, having faith as a child and believing that life is good and can be good, even when it sometimes seems bad-is the ticket towards getting a healthy living make-over.

To be in total body health, we need to take care of our three parts. We are a spirit, we have a soul and we live in body. We need to always remember that if one of those parts is not in total health, it will bring the other two parts down as well. Getting a healthy living make-over, begins with getting the right positive mental and spiritual outlook in our lives. Some people look to faith in God as the answer. You need to find your own meaning and purpose to life. Once those two parts of your body are in order, then you need to take a look at the physical side.

We should begin the healthy living make-over by taking our own personal inventory or health assessment. If we're feeling sleep deprived, that could very well be because of stress. The lives we live today are so filled with multiple stressors and we don't know how to organize our daily routines without driving ourselves crazy. On top of that, we need to add daily exercise, at least three times a week, to our schedules. Exercising helps release the endorphins and serotonin which create a sense of overall well-being in our bodies. True, a good workout can create sore muscles, but that's good because you're working your body the right way. However, there's something nice about the satisfaction you get after a good workout.

Ridding our bodies of harmful toxins is a must for a healthy living make-over. Toxins negatively affect our thyroid and can shut down our metabolism. For a natural detox, drinking a cup of hot or cold green tea works really well as a natural detox. Some green tea does have caffeine so drinking it after the evening hours can hinder sleep. We should always pay attention to the labels on our foods.

We should take omega 3 supplements-they stabilize our moods and have few negative side effects. Taking probiotics is also important. They are natural bacteria that help our bodies maintain natural balance of organisms in the intestines. They increase our metabolism and balance our digestive system. Fiber is essential to a healthy diet. Many of us do not get the right amount of fiber in our daily diets. That's why if you don't, then taking a fiber drink or supplements is a good idea. Fiber is essential in lowering bad cholesterol, regulating blood sugar and lowering the risk of heart disease.

Staying hydrating is so vital to healthy living. Water keeps every part of our body working properly each day. It assists in flushing out waste and keeping our body at the right temperature. We lose water every day when we sweat, urinate, breath and have bowel movements. You can survive longer without food, but not that long without water. It's essential to drink enough every day, especially as we exercise and in the hot weather.

Eating a healthy diet is important, but it's also been studied that eating smaller meals, two to four, every day can help stimulate our metabolism and improve our health and body composition. Some people have a very good metabolism and they digest their food and this happens consistently and quickly every time they eat. However, not everyone has this great metabolism. So, if you do eat small meals, it will aid your body in properly digesting your food.

It's easier to let our bodies go and not take care of all our three parts. The harder factor is to live each day with the mindset that a healthy living make-over is obtainable. However, when we live with the mindset that we are taking care of our bodies, this prevention will be the best medicine because we'll be less susceptible to sickness and disease. Prevention is always the best medicine.
